The Santa Monica College Photography Gallery is proud to present the SMC Photography Department's 4th Bi-Annual Alumni Exhibition Sept. 28 through Oct. 25.
This bi-annual event will feature exciting personal and visually captivating commercial work created by some of the most impressive alumni to graduate from SMC's Photography Department.
The exhibition will feature SMC alumni Anthony Nex and David Zaitz, both of whom graduated in the 1980s.
Other artists' work on display will include Casandra Plavoukos, who was highlighted prior to graduation as the student photographer of the month at Mac-On-Campus, Nicholas Freeman and Pete Kelly.
Sabine Pearlman, also a very recent grad, was so affected by the destructive power of ammunition that she wanted to artistically explore them in her series, "AMMO."
An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
The SMC Photography Gallery is located opposite the elevators on the second floor of Drescher Hall, on SMC's main campus at 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica.
Gallery exhibits and receptions are free.
